Social Development through Civil Society Organisations

The professional programme implemented within the project was structured around two pillars, focusing on the organisation of events aligned with the two core areas of activity of the Talentum Foundation.

Our programme entitled Civil Market, held on 13 September 2025, aimed to support civil society organisations by providing them with the opportunity to set up stands at the event and introduce themselves to the residents of Szeged.

The Volunteer Gala took place on 4 December 2025. The event was connected to the International Volunteer Day on 5 December and aimed to express appreciation for the dedicated work carried out by volunteers throughout the year. We elevated this recognition to the level of a city-wide event in order to highlight the impact of volunteering and its community-building power. Participants included museum volunteers, theatre volunteers, hospital volunteers, botanical garden volunteers, and international volunteers. We also expressed our gratitude to the coordinators leading volunteer teams and to the heads of the participating institutions.

The remaining part of the grant will be used to ensure the background support of the professional activities through the coverage of operational costs.
