Within the project, we cooperate with organisations that engage volunteers in order to strengthen young people’s social participation through the development of an online handbook for volunteer coordinators and a transnational, practice-oriented workshop. The development of practical skills and the content of the publication place the three Erasmus+ priorities – inclusion, sustainability and digitalisation – at the centre of the project. Within the framework of the initiative, volunteer coordinators aged 18–29 receive modern, professional and innovative support tailored to the needs of young people in the field of volunteer management.
The development of practical skills and the content of the publication place the three Erasmus+ priorities – inclusion, sustainability and digitalisation – at the centre of the project. Volunteer coordinators aged 18–29 receive modern, professional, innovative and youth-focused support in the field of volunteer management. The project is implemented in cooperation between three organisations. Tasks have been divided among the partners, with each organisation responsible for one thematic area, while all activities are carried out collaboratively. Caritas Subotica is responsible for inclusion, Luminosus, n.o. for sustainability, and the Talentum Foundation for digitalisation.
Activities implemented during the project:
- 5 online professional meetings (kick-off and evaluation meetings, and three thematic workshops)
- 3 in-person partnership meetings dedicated to exploring good practices in the areas of inclusion, sustainability and digitalisation
- Local activities: research and collection of materials, situation analysis, needs assessment
- Writing and publishing the good practice-based Volunteer Management 2.0 online handbook
- Skills development for young participants through a practice-repertoire expansion workshop and joint learning activities
- Dissemination of project results and analysis of feedback
The partners explore and exchange good practices from each other’s countries, systematise these experiences, and formulate proposals to renew their volunteer management practices in line with the principles of inclusion, sustainability and digitalisation.
The developed Volunteer Management 2.0 Online Handbook provides practical knowledge, while the practice-repertoire expansion workshop offers motivation and methodological confidence to participants. As a result, volunteer engagement and commitment become stronger both within the partner organisations and among civil organisations using the handbook.
