Building a path towards the practical implementation of a inclusive, flexible and family based volunteering

    2024-1-HU01-KA210-ADU-000254522
    2024.12.01-2026.02.28.
The Talentum Foundation for the Support of Volunteering (Szeged) and the Archdiocesan Office for Family Ministry of Alba Iulia (Târgu Mureș), with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme, launched a 15-month project starting in December 2024 entitled “Building a path towards the practical implementation of a inclusive, flexible and family based volunteering” (2024-1-HU01-KA210-ADU-000254522).

The aim of our project is to build pathways towards inclusive, flexible and family-involving volunteering within the coordinating and partner organizations, as well as among other human-focused civil society organizations in our environment.

Through this, we seek to make volunteering accessible to people and families with fewer opportunities (for example, people with disabilities; those living in rural areas with limited transport options; members of national minorities in their respective countries, etc.), as well as to those who wish to volunteer together with their family members.

Within the framework of the project, we aim to provide learning opportunities on the above topic for staff members and volunteers of participating nonprofit organizations. This will take place through 2 workshops for organizational staff and 1 workshop for volunteers in each country, where participants can share their experiences and needs related to working with volunteers.

Based on the project experiences, we will create a supporting resource: an online methodological and practical tip collection that provides tools and methods for the inclusive involvement of people with fewer opportunities and volunteers connected through family relationships.
