Last November, the Talentum Foundation launched the Erasmus+ project '
Voluntary Action Cuisine', bringing together civil organizations from Albania, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. As a result of this collaboration, an inspiring recipe-style collection has now been compiled and published, offering practical tips and encouragement for organizing voluntary actions.
Just as a cookbook not only presents ingredients and techniques but also reflects a style and approach, this publication aims to motivate readers to take the plunge and organize their own voluntary actions. Voluntary actions are short, easily accessible, public-interest activities in which participants donate their time freely and often see the results of their efforts immediately. This can be particularly appealing to young people and those with fewer opportunities, providing a first taste of volunteering and making it easier to commit in the long term.
The Voluntary Action Cuisine booklet draws on the experiences of five European countries and presents numerous tested “recipes” for voluntary actions – including ingredients, step-by-step guidance, and inspiring ideas.
The booklet is currently available in English, Hungarian, Czech, Albanian, Slovakian and Polish – click on the image to browse through the recipe collection! ↓
