The professional programme implemented through the grant was structured around two pillars, focusing on organising the Talentum Foundation’s two main areas of activity and its flagship initiatives that have defined the organisation since its establishment. Accordingly, in 2024 we sought to elevate the Civil Market event – celebrating its 10th edition – into a more festive programme of slightly greater scale.
In 2024, the Talentum Foundation is actively participating in the VERA programme in connection with the call launched by the European Volunteer Centre (Centre for European Volunteering – CEV).
The main objective of the project is to ensure that the learning outcomes acquired through the training and capacity-building activities of civil society organisations become visible, and that the knowledge and skills gained in socially oriented training programmes are recognised and certified for participants.
Two sessions of an English-language intercultural camp were implemented at the Szeged Partfürdő, involving seven international volunteers and two supporting volunteers. The participants of the camp were primary and secondary school students, with a total of 28 young people taking part.
The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a programme funded by the European Union with the aim of enabling young people to engage in volunteering activities abroad.
The main objective of the project is to inspire, raise awareness among, and engage young people aged 14 and above in volunteering and active civic participation through the method of gamification. Within the framework of the project, a cooperative board game and a methodological guideline for youth workers will be developed. The game, designed for young people aged 14 and above, is an innovative tool tailored to the needs of young audiences. Its aim is to increase young people’s interest in and willingness to engage in volunteering. The product supports social participation and the development of civic competences, and will be available in both Hungarian and English.
