In November 2024, the Talentum Foundation launched a new Erasmus+ project entitled “Voluntary Action Cuisine”, involving civil society organizations from five countries: Hungary, Slovakia, Albania, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

The aims of the project are:

• to promote low-threshold volunteering activities,
• to collect and share good practices,
• to create a practice-oriented, inspiring “recipe book” that supports civil organizations in planning and implementing volunteer actions.

As the first step of the project, a preparatory meeting was organized in Budapest in January 2025, where partners got to know each other, jointly laid the foundations of cooperation, and began preparing the compilation of the recipe book.

This was followed by a 7-day international workshop in May 2025, during which 20 young people and professionals from five countries learned about volunteering, inspiring methods, and shared their experiences with one another.

Within the framework of the project, each partner organization presented its own successful volunteer initiatives in the form of a detailed “recipe.” In these recipes, they shared the “ingredients” of the actions (necessary resources and tools) as well as the “preparation method” (step-by-step implementation guidelines).

Our recipe book on volunteer actions, titled “Voluntary Action Cuisine,” is recommended for those who are looking for inspiration and ideas for organizing volunteer events or trying out new experiences.

The booklet is currently available in English, Hungarian, Czech, Albanian, Slovakian and Polish – click on the image to browse through the recipe collection! ↓
